"It's Friday" Artist Lectures were inspired by the great Rebecca Black song from 2010. Which if you don't know was produced on a whim and went on to be an internet sensation. We hope to follow the same path to internet fame and fortune with artist lectures. Stay tuned for more videos to come!

It's Friday with Sergio Farfan - January 29th, 2021
We will meet with muralist, painter, illustrator, street artist, and ECC alum Sergio Farfan. His work is sometimes grimey, sometimes comical, sometimes cartoonish, but always is of high quality and thought provoking. His artwork has been commissioned by internationally acclaimed cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, the Chicago Bears, and even ECC!

“Approaching Truth” is a round table with 4 artists discussing Histories, Cultures, Blackness, and the Future within their contemporary art practices. It will also be an exhibition in the near post-pandemic future.

Friday October 30th, 2020 / 2-3pm We will meet with Printmaker, Sculptor, and Painter Aaron Coleman. His work often pairs pop culture references with poignant social commentary. Check out his work HERE.
